The Huish Academy Trust is a Multi Academy Trust with 3 schools based within the Yeovil area.

Primrose Lane Primary School is a 1 form entry primary school with an onsite nursery set on the eastern outskirts of Yeovil.   At Primrose Lane Primary School, our aim is for all children to reach their full potential and to be equipped to embrace their future. Working Pattern: 22 hours 30 mins per week (flexible).  Term Time only

Salary  £22,571-£25,927 FTE (37 hours/52 weeks) £11.70-£13.44 per hour depending on experience (pay award pending)

This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work with children, young people and their families, aiming to improve achievement in schools within the Trust, working at Huish Primary School and Primrose Lane Primary School.  

As a Parent Family Support Adviser, you will advise and support parents ensuring their children attend school regularly and gain maximum benefits from education.   You will also develop and provide knowledge of family services available in the local community.  You will work primarily with children and their parents/carers ensuring all pupils  have full access to educational opportunities and are able to overcome barriers to learning and participation.   Experience of delivering individual/group based support and understanding children within the family context is essential, as well as work experience within the education, social services, health or voluntary sector

Salary  Salary Grade 11  £26,446 – £30,095 FTE (37 hours/52 weeks); £13.71- £15.60 per hour depending on experience (pay award pending)

Huish Academy Trust has a fabulous opportunity in September for an experienced or aspiring business/HR professional to join the Trust’s Central Services Team. Initially this role will be located at Huish Primary School but will require some travel to other Academies within the MAT – all located within Yeovil at present. The post holder will work in collaboration with Trust Finance Officers, the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and our outsourced payroll provider to maintain the contractual information for Trust personnel, using Edupay and Bromcom software systems to maintain accurate salary information.

The postholder will also take responsibility for booking and recording training for staff, the administration and management of our Employee Benefits schemes and for other adhoc business related projects across the Trust.
